dancing to the rhythm of rain,
the trees twirled, candidly
flailing to the beats of lightning
on the verge to flee.
dancing to the rhythm of rain,
the trees twirled, candidly
flailing to the beats of lightning
on the verge to flee.
the day I say goodbye
I'll claim to do so, with a smile
perhaps, with my head held high
with glory and pride.
He sat in disappointment.
All his years of staunch,
had gone in vain.
His eyes shone—not with anger, rather pain.
Each movement gave away his ache.
A disbelief for him it was,
What had he achieved, at the end of the day?
He questioned the dismay,
had he done nothing, all these years?
I am confined within the walls of a palace,
Surrounded by smiles of malice.
A fortress of trust I built,
To stand beside those I cherished
I’ll love you always
I am to be a puppet,
to bring joy and fame and fun,
to dance to the words they say
to the world, I am a pun.
no thoughts of mine are real,
no words I speak are true.
I must walk where they lead,
for I am a dupe.
It does have a solution
no question to that.
But did anyone mention
it takes a lifetime to crack?
Still, I’m obsessed with maths,
can’t get it out of my head.
If I don’t solve a question,
I just can’t go to bed.
Life, much like a river, is a journey with distinct stages, each flowing toward a final destination. In this comparison, the river mirrors the essence of our existence. Just as a river starts small and humble, so does life at its beginning — full of potential, ready to grow and expand. During youth, the river moves swiftly, rushing toward the unknown, much like how we experience rapid growth and change during our early years. Along the way, the river encounters obstacles — rocks, waterfalls — challenges that mirror the struggles and hardships we face in our lives. These hurdles shape us, testing our resilience and determination.
